Bayern Munich wants to open talks with Jamal Musiala over a new contract, according to the club’s sporting director. Hasan Salihamidžić says the club has told Musiala’s mother and management that they are very happy with the 19-year-old. Salihamidžić has confirmed that the club intends to sit down with Musiala and his team after the World Cup. "We want to sit down with them after the World Cup to talk about Jamal's further future at Bayern," said Hasan Salihamidžić, Bayern Munich Sporting Director. Musiala impressed many at the World Cup despite Germany’s early exit from the competition. Germany manager and former Bayern coach Hansi Flick labeled Musiala as the future of German football.
