During an interview with Andy Cohen, Kristin Chenoweth revealed that her hair extensions saved her life during an accident onset in 2012. The actress was hospitalized while filming season four of 'The Good Wife' after lighting equipment fell and hit her. She recalled hearing someone say “we’re losing the light” and then the word “action” before waking up in Bellevue Hospital. Chenoweth suffered “a seven-inch skull fracture, a hairline fracture, cracked teeth and ribs”. She told Cohen that she regrets not trying to get compensation for the accident as she was left with “long-standing injuries". Chenoweth's doctor told her that her hair extensions actually saved her life as they “made the hairline fracture go together”. The 'Wicked' star then encouraged viewers who were thinking about getting hair extensions to get them “for your health”.
