Kajol's sister Tanishaa Mukerji, who was recently trolled mercilessly for wearing a yellow bralette and a thigh high-slit skirt at an event, has now clapped back at the naysayers. The actress reacted to being trolled for her fashion choices by saying 'I don't argue with stupid people.' Tanishaa added, 'Fashion for me is an expression of myself... Nobody is perfect and I am fine with being flawed. My fashion choices are dependent upon my mood. If I feel beautiful and comfortable with myself, I believe that is the energy I will exude. I am not denying that I’ve sometimes gotten carried away by emotions and made some fashion faux pas. But you learn as you live.' She further added that there are many actors who wore 'less than her' and said, 'I think far more actors have worn far less than me at a lot more events. I have grown up knowing that there’s no way I will lower myself to someone else’s level to fit their expectations. As far as commenting on my acting goes if you are saying I can’t wear a particular outfit because you think I am not successful enough, then there’s a fundamental flaw in your thought process. And I don’t argue with stupid people.' She concluded it by saying, 'Being in the public eye is a privilege, and I look at it like that. Criticism is fine. I don't always have to take it to heart. I am wise enough to discern the silly from the smart.' For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
