A new survey has found that 70% of Americans have felt an increased desire to travel because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey from travel company Skyscanner asked 2,000 people how the pandemic has affected their travel plans. 25% of respondents said that they are planning to take a vacation as early as July or August of this year. People are obviously eager to travel again, as 76% said they are already planning or will plan a trip in 2020. A lot of people want to spend time outdoors, with almost 70% of people saying their next vacation will be nature-focused. This could include taking a family trip to the beach, visiting rural towns, or hiking up mountains. 70% of people said that they are planning to take multiple vacations before the end of the year. However, many of the respondents are cautious about what kind of accommodation they stay in. Only 20% would feel comfortable staying at a home rental, while 33% said they would choose a large hotel
