Team USA is finalizing their 2024 Paris Olympics basketball roster, which is set to include some of the NBA’s most iconic players. According to ESPN, the LA Lakers’ LeBron James, the Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry and the Phoenix Suns’ Kevin Durant will be on the roster. James and Durant are eyeing their third and fourth Olympic golds, respectively, with two-time MVP Curry making his first appearance at the Games. Reigning MVP Joel Embiid is also set to feature in Paris after electing to play for the United States over France and Cameroon. LA’s Anthony Davis, Phoenix’s Devin Booker, Minnesota’s Anthony Edwards, Boston’s Jayson Tatum and Jrue Holiday will also be included. Miami center Bam Adebayo and Indiana’s Tyrese Haliburton are also set to compete, with the final spot remaining open ahead of training camp. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr will be the team’s head coach as the United States aim to capture their fifth straight Olympic gold medal.
